On 09/10/2021, at about 1507 hours, Ukiah PD Officers responded to a shooting that occurred in the 700 block of S. Dora St. Several casings and bullet fragments were located at the scene. Witness’ statements and citizens provided video surveillance revealed a white male adult shot at an occupied vehicle. Both vehicles fled the scene and were initially unable to be located. Given the proximity to Yokayo Elementary school, the school initiated their lockdown procedures. The shooter reportedly left the scene in the above blue BMW and the driver was black male adult in his 30’s. He was described as being over 6 feet tall, having an athletic build, with shoulder length dread locks that had bleached tips. The shooter / passenger was described as a white male adult in his 20’s with a thin build, having light brown or blonde hair.
